Jump Rope for Heart is a comminity service project where the students rasie money for the American Heart Association for the prevention of heart disease and stroke. Students collect donations from the community and pariticpate in a Jump Rope-A-Thon each spring. This project is special to us at Wedgewoood because heart disease and stroke is one of the leading causes of death in our state.
